For the front cover they are;

For the contents page they are;

• Eye catching colours
• Pictures and captions

For the double page spread they are;

• Headline
• Big picture taking up 1 page
• Kicker-article starts with a big first letter
• Route of the eye
• Principle of the thirds

• An important question
• Pull quote from another article
